Can regular users withdraw coins?
No. Reader balances are for spending inside StoryBaze and are not cash balances.
Why do some features cost more coins?
Some actions create longer writing, richer media, audio, video, or final rendered files. Those features use more coins because they create more value and require more processing.
Do regenerations cost again?
Yes. Regenerating an AI image, chapter, narration, SBits clip, or other generated result creates a new result, so it costs the same as generating it the first time.
How do author earnings work?
Authors publish written stories and Creators publish eligible SBits video work. Standard eligible work earns 70% of net revenue. Founding Elite is individually approved for exclusive stories or series and pays 85% on attributable revenue until the combined 10,000-coin ($100) bonus cap, then 70%. Only approved authors and creators can withdraw eligible earnings; minimums vary by payout currency and method and are shown in the withdrawal flow.
What local Premium price will I pay?
The monthly USD baseline is about US$5. Apple App Store and Google Play set localized subscription prices and may apply storefront rounding, currency conversion, and taxes. The checkout screen shows the exact local charge and renewal terms before you confirm. Yearly pricing remains separate and is displayed by your store.
Can guests send a Whisper gift?
Yes. A guest can use Flutterwave on a shared Whisper page. StoryBaze verifies the payment with Flutterwave before crediting the recipient. The recipient receives 70% of the gift coin value: approved authors and creators receive eligible earnings, while regular users receive spendable, non-withdrawable coins.
Are Whisper gifts a direct coin transfer?
No. Direct account-to-account coin transfers are not available. A Whisper gift is a StoryBaze-operated purchase/spend flow that credits 70% of its coin value after the payment is verified.
Are chat messages end-to-end encrypted?
No. StoryBaze Chats are stored and synchronized to your account and are not end-to-end encrypted. Chat Settings let you control online and last-seen visibility, reading status, notification previews, and other chat preferences.
Who can see my online, last-seen, and reading status?
You choose who can see online and last-seen information in Chat Settings. Those settings are reciprocal, so you may not see another person’s status when your own visibility setting does not allow it. Story-reading status is shared only when the reader enables it.
Who can see replies to my Whisper?
Replies are private to the Whisper owner by default. The owner can enable public replies; only approved replies are shown to visitors. Web replies appear as Anonymous to the owner, but StoryBaze still processes them for moderation and abuse prevention.
